The Budgerigar, also known as the wavy parrot, is a small and popular bird from Australia. This plastic toy version is ideal for enthusiasts and young bird lovers.

In nature, budgerigars feed mainly on grass seeds, and in human care, they consume various types of millet and oats. They can nest all year round, especially during favorable conditions like the rainy season. Females typically lay an average of 5 eggs, which they incubate for about 18 days. When grown, budgerigars reach a body length of around 18 cm (including the tail) and weigh between 26–40 grams in the wild, and up to 60 grams in captivity.

Color mutations include grey, blue, yellow, white, cinnamon, opaline, recessive or dominant pied, and rainbow, among others, with a lifespan of 8 to 12 years.
