The elegant and powerful Piko Rh 1216 Taurus in the ČD Railjet design faithfully captures the modern locomotive known from European lines. A zinc die-cast frame, all-axle drive, and a motor with two flywheels provide reliable performance and excellent running qualities even at low speeds.

The locomotive is equipped with triple headlight illumination with automatic white/red switching according to the direction of travel, four pantographs, and NEM standards for easy digitization and coupler compatibility.
