Handling sturdy cards supports grip, hand–eye coordination, and concentration during shared parent–child play.
This set of large-format cards is designed to playfully stimulate speech during the stage when children first imitate sounds and only then form words. Clear, understandable illustrations with graphic prompts motivate children to repeat sounds like “meow,” “vroom,” or “woof,” thereby naturally training auditory discrimination, memory, and language rhythm.
Each card measures 15.5 × 15.5 cm and is made of 2 mm FSC cardboard without plastic – making the cards sturdy and safe for everyday use. The set includes 12 double-sided cards (a total of 24 motifs: 12 animals + 12 objects), plus tips for parents with ideas for games and developmental activities.
Why sounds?
Between 12–30 months, speech development is most influenced by imitating sounds. Repeating sounds strengthens oral motor skills (lips, tongue, soft palate), helps perceive the melody and tempo of language, and builds the foundations of vocabulary. The cards serve as a bridge from sounds to first words.
