This classic game involves quickly hitting the light-up frogs with a rubber-headed mallet for a certain amount of time. The rules are very simple, so even toddlers can learn them in no time—the game is suitable for children aged 3 and up. Winning depends on each player’s abilities, alertness, and reaction speed.
The set includes a sturdy plastic game board shaped like a frog, plus 10 small frogs and a red-and-white mallet. It also features suction cups on the back for securing it in place, along with buttons that trigger sounds and melodies. Smaller buttons let you lower the volume or mute it completely. At the top of the green frog is an LCD display showing the score.
The light-up frogs offer great fun for kids of all ages—the game includes multiple rounds that increase the frequency of lighting elements, helping children learn healthy competition—with parents and peers alike. The learning mode has 26 levels, each lasting 30 seconds. The super mode has 12 levels that are much more challenging—higher stimulation means even more fun.
Three LEDs at the top indicate your "lives" in the game. When all are lit, you have 6 lives—the extinction of each LED means the loss of two lives. When all go out, the player must start over.
