The European Moose is the largest member of the deer family, native to northern forests of Europe, Asia, and America. Although it was exterminated in the Czech lands during the Middle Ages, the moose has managed to thrive in other regions. This plastic moose toy, measuring 13cm, offers a detailed replica of this majestic animal.
- The European moose feeds on birch, willow, and rowan leaves, as well as aquatic and marsh plants.
- Each day, it consumes up to 50 kilograms of food, often migrating in search of sustenance.
- Their legs, with spreadable toes, allow them to move efficiently through soft ground, and they can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h.
- Moose are excellent swimmers.
- A bull moose's antlers can weigh up to 60 kg and span up to 250 cm, resembling shovels, and are shed annually.
- The gestation period for a female is approximately 36 weeks, with one to three calves being born and nursed for around four months.
- Moose can live up to 20 years.
