This model represents the historic 75mm Field Gun wz. 1897, a French-manufactured towed artillery piece which was crucial to the Polish military prior to and during the early years of World War II. With a total weight of 1,190 kilograms in combat position and a length of 4.5 meters, this gun had a maximum range of approximately 11,200 meters and a firing rate of up to 12 rounds per minute.

• Originally supplied to the Polish army through Gen. Haller's Blue Army and further acquisitions from France in the early 1920s.
