Piko electric locomotive Rh 1216 Taurus ČD Railjet H0, 4 pantographs, analog DC
The elegant and powerful Piko Rh 1216 Taurus in the ČD Railjet design faithfully captures the modern locomotive known from European lines. Detailed bogies with finely crafted brake rigging, crisp printing with contrasting pictograms, and clean paintwork emphasize the model’s realistic appearance. A zinc die-cast frame, all-axle drive, and a motor with two flywheels provide reliable performance and excellent running qualities even at low speeds.
The locomotive is equipped with triple headlight illumination with automatic white/red switching according to the direction of travel, four pantographs, and NEM standards for easy digitization and coupler compatibility. Thanks to the NEM 652 interface, a digital decoder can be added, and optionally a sound module with a speaker for even more realistic operation.
- Realistic appearance: fine detailing, high-quality printing, and precise paintwork
- Excellent running performance: motor with flywheels, all axles driven, traction-tyred wheels
- Ready for digitization: NEM 652 (8-pin) interface, NEM 362 coupler pockets with kinematics
- Functional details: direction-dependent lighting, 4 pantographs, reliable coupler
- H0 scale: an ideal choice for modern layouts with a minimum curve radius of 358 mm
