Instructions for Locking and Setting Hints:

Choose a three-digit number for the lock code, ensuring no digits are repeated. On the key card, each number correlates to a corresponding color, symbol, and relative direction. For example, using the code '918', number '9' corresponds to yellow/spiral/top, '1' to purple/eye/right, and '8' to light green/owl/top.

On the first hint card, affix the corresponding symbols in the correct sequence following the dotted spiral pattern from the box wall center. Use the largest circle for the spiral icon (number 9), the medium one for the eye symbol (number 1), and the smallest for the owl icon (number 8).

The second hint card should be adorned with sticker colors matching the code numbers, sized according to the significance of each number.

The third card, when inserted into the puzzle’s wall pocket, reveals directional markings. On removal, stick the color label corresponding to the relative position for each number’s direction. For added challenge, misleading color stickers can be placed on unused positions. The default lock setting is '000'. To change it, hold the bottom button, set a new code, and release to lock.
