New for 2021 from the Expert product line! A faithful and detailed model of the BR 240 electric locomotive (Škoda 47E, S 499 “Laminátka”) in ČD Cargo colors and livery. It impresses with precisely and sharply molded details and body lines, further enhanced by features such as engine-room skylights. The bogie is also accurately reproduced, completing the overall impression. The paintwork and printing, including all decorative elements, are of the highest quality appropriate to the product line. The look is crowned by a precisely reproduced roof with a pair of metal pantographs. The model is fitted with a powerful motor equipped with flywheels. White/red LED lighting changes according to the direction of travel. The model is equipped with a digital decoder with a sound module and speaker, featuring a library of prototype-accurate sounds and allowing control of lights on the bogie, in the driver’s cab, and in the engine room. It is compatible with DCC, Rail-ComPlus®, Motorola® and Selectrix® protocols, and also allows operation in analog mode. It can intelligently detect the appropriate operating mode. With PIKO SmartControl control units, or units compatible with the mfx® format, it offers extensive options for individual mapping. Matching type and finish wagons are available for the locomotive.
