Discover the world’s second-largest island in the family board game New Guinea. Step into the role of a tribe, build huts of various shapes, cover water areas, and collect points for fruit bushes. Simple rules, quick 1-minute rounds, and the option to adjust difficulty make it a great choice for families and casual players alike.
In the board game New Guinea, you become members of an indigenous tribe and your goal is to build a new village. The game begins by placing the totem of a sacred animal, then you cleverly place and rotate hut tiles so they only touch at the corners, cover water sources, and yield as many points as possible from fruit bushes. Watch out for the totems — covering them brings bad luck!
Rounds are brisk, each lasting only a minute. As soon as any player covers all water areas, the round ends. After nine rounds, the player with the most points wins. Thanks to variable objectives and combinations, every game is different and stays fresh. The difficulty can be easily adjusted to the age and experience of the players.
