Game MLEM: Space Agency
The year is 2075 and, right after taking over the world, cats have found a new goal for their expeditions. The best teams of meowing specialists compete to gain the upper paw in space, and even a lack of thumbs won’t stop them from reaching for the stars. Who will win this ruthless race full of cat litter and exploding rockets and lay a paw on the endless treasures of the Milky Way?
MLEM: Space Agency is a family board game in which we take on the role of captains of interstellar expeditions. But not the usual kind—our astronauts are cats! Fearless and stubborn, they conquered Earth long ago and are now preparing to conquer the entire cosmos. During the game, our task is to guide a kitty rocket to fly as far as possible while avoiding disasters. Your animal instincts will come in handy to tell you when it’s best to bail out of the vehicle, as will your willingness to take risks.
What’s it about?
- The game consists of a series of consecutive space missions during which you select one of your expert astronauts to send into space. Proceed carefully, because each one has a special skill you can use to your advantage.
- The fate of each mission is decided by dice rolled by the commander, who then chooses which to use to move along the board. After every successful flight you can decide that your feline astronaut will exit the rocket and land on a specific moon or planet. This is how you collect points, bonuses, and complete objectives.
- The farther you manage to fly, the more points you gain, but be careful—the rocket carrying your astronauts can crash and ruin your plans!!!
- The game ends when one of you has sent all your astronauts into space, or when the rocket crashes 11 times. The winner is the player whose astronauts secure the most points.
Why will you love this game?
- Almost every cat owner has probably wondered whether these meowing creatures will not only rule humans but also conquer the world (if they feel like it). In this charming family game, you can try out exactly that scenario!
- The rules are simple, and the beauty lies in the uncertainty. On one hand you face important decisions—such as which astronaut to choose and whether to seize a chance to score—while on the other, tempting fate is inseparably tied to risk, serving up plenty of excitement.
- The rulebook describes up to 3 variants for advanced players: UFO encounters, space discoveries, and special secret missions! You can add them independently, in any combination, to spice up your games.
- The game delights the eye with its refined production: cohesive graphic design, a game board in the form of a sturdy mat, and a box pleasant to the touch.
- The game is a feast for the eyes.
