It turns out the mine still hides treasures in secret tunnels full of precious gold nuggets, and the dwarves are heading out to hunt again!
Saboteur 2 is an expansion to the popular card game in which you conceal your identity to get as rich as possible. This time, miners are split into two teams, while others work for themselves. New cards change the victory conditions, and additional tunnels and actions add variety to life in the mine. Suddenly, your hard-earned gold may not be as safe as you thought, because opponents can change their intentions or you may have to swap the cards in your hand. One thing remains the same: the player who gains the most gold wins.
What is Saboteur?
It’s a simple and engaging bluffing card game in which you play as miners searching deep tunnels for gold nuggets, or as saboteurs making their work harder at every step. Members of both groups should support each other, but they can never be sure who is on their side—each dwarf’s identity is revealed only after the gold is divided. The winner is the player who has the most nuggets of the precious ore at the end of the third round.
