Egg Game extended version

A party game like never before! A frantic, fast-paced card game full of surprises in a truly French atmosphere, with nods to cinema and the Cannes Film Festival. Even though up to 8 players can join, it works perfectly well with just two.

The base version includes 3 cards: Egg, Hen, and Fox. One player acts as the director, laying cards (which are shots from the film) one on top of another. The task of the other players is to watch the film closely and cut when 5 Eggs appear in the film. But beware! If a Hen appears in a film where an Egg is already present, she sits on the Egg and it stops appearing. If a Fox shows up while a Hen is sitting on an Egg, the Fox carries the Hen away and the Egg reappears! On top of that, the script can be messed up by Farmer Wiesiek, the rooster Rokoko, the dog Frondzel, and more.

If the other players think the cut was wrong, you can challenge it and the film is then replayed in slow motion.

Egg Game is a prime example of an ideal family board game, because its universal rules make it fun for everyone regardless of age. Kids can play on their own, adults can play on their own, or everyone together. Age gives you no advantage here—it’s all about your memory. A perfect birthday gift for every egg-loving gamer!

Concise rules:

1. Cards show Eggs, Hens, and Foxes.
2. One player places cards one on top of another to create a film.
3. When 5 Eggs appear in the film, the film must be stopped. Whoever does so gains a point.
4. When a Hen appears, she sits on an Egg and the Egg disappears from the film!
5. If a Fox appears while a Hen is sitting on an Egg, the Fox carries the Hen away and the Egg returns to the film!
6. If you suspect the film was stopped incorrectly, replay it in slow motion.
7. Add new cards (from the two expansions) to make the game even more unpredictable!
