In a story set at the beginning of The Legend of Zelda timeline, Link sets out for a world between the clouds and the great unknown to find his childhood friend, Zelda. With the help of his trusty sword and shield, he must face powerful enemies, solve tricky puzzles, and soar through the skies on the back of a giant Loftwing in this epic adventure.



The Joy-Con controllers become your sword and shield. Swing the right Joy-Con controller and Link will swing his sword. The left Joy-Con serves as a shield to protect you from enemy attacks. Similar motions can be used when wielding a bow or throwing bombs.

For the first time ever, you can enjoy this adventure with button controls, allowing you to play the entire game in handheld mode and on the Nintendo Switch Lite as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is set to release for Nintendo Switch on July 16.
