Yuma and Shinigami are master detectives belonging to the World Detective Organization, a group that takes on various cases.
Each master detective has a supernatural ability known as a Forensic Forte. Thanks to these abilities, they can gather facts and collect evidence that a normal detective would have no chance of finding. With the Disguise ability, you can mimic human bodies and voices. The Audial ability lets you detect heartbeats. Recognition helps you with testimonies at crime scenes. Under the right conditions, these abilities can be shared with Yuma. Get used to them—you’ll surely appreciate them during investigations.

Amaterasu Corporation is a megacorp that controls Kanai Ward. It sees the World Detective Organization as its enemy. Deeply entangled in unsolved cases, it uses its vast influence to fabricate facts or conceal them whenever it suits their needs. They create obstacles to keep the truth from coming to light.
