Nintendo Switch Lite supports all Nintendo Switch software that can be played in handheld mode. A great choice for those who often play on the go, and for anyone who enjoys online or local wireless multiplayer with friends or family and already owns the flagship Nintendo Switch console.
As a single-purpose handheld gaming device, Nintendo Switch Lite does not support connection to a TV.

Nintendo Switch Lite runs all Nintendo Switch software that supports handheld mode.
If a game supports Joy-Con features such as HD Rumble, the IR Motion Camera, or Joy-Con motion sensors, some functions are not available on Nintendo Switch Lite alone. You can use Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) for those features.
For games that do not support handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. In that case, you will also need a device to charge the Joy-Con controllers, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip. Information about compatibility of game modes for individual titles can be found on the packaging or in the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo Switch Lite supports Handheld mode only. It’s easy to take on the go. This compact, lightweight system with integrated controls is compatible with all Nintendo Switch software that supports Handheld mode. The system does not have HD Rumble or an IR Motion Camera and cannot be connected to a TV or inserted into the Nintendo Switch dock. It features a capacitive 5.5" LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720. The console’s battery lasts longer than the flagship Nintendo Switch, but actual time depends on software and usage conditions. The system weighs approximately 275 g.
