How to paint with diamonds: The top side of the canvas is covered with glue and a transparent foil. Remove the foil gradually as you apply the stones. Removing the entire foil at once may cause the adhesive layer to get dirty, and the stones might not stick well. The canvas includes symbols that are referenced in the included legend, pointing to the corresponding bag of stones marked with numbers. Pour the stones from the bag into the tray. Pick up the wax with the pen's tip, making it easier to stick the stones to the pen. Apply the stones to the canvas using the pen. Once you finish one color, pour the remaining stones back into the bag and continue with another color.
