About the Designer

Swedish artist Ingela Peterson Arrhenius, born in 1967, has always had art and design as part of her life. Before starting her career as an illustrator, she worked as an art director in Stockholm. Ingela studied advertising and graphic design at an art school, also in Stockholm. Since 1992, she has been a freelance illustrator, working internationally across advertising, design, and publishing. Her work includes print patterns for fabrics, wallpapers, stationery, as well as packaging, product design, home accessories, and toys. Known worldwide, her posters and designer toys reflect her passion for retro style, typography, and color. She currently resides in Stockholm with her husband and two sons.
